Temporary Hiatus

Some... things happened, in my family and otherwise, and now I find myself unable to get anything done. So I will be disappearing for a while until I can get myself sorted out. I'm not sure when I will be back, but I just thought I'd warn you. Uhm... yeah. Now that I have already been to the Viola Lahger Teaparty it seems like I have lost all will to celebrate Halloween so I might just go into hibernation until Christmas. Hm, yes, that would be nice.

I will finish the hat order for this weekend, but I don't think I will be accepting any new ones for a while. Sorry. I just can't work like this.

The Day After~

Yesterday afternoon I went, after some hesitation, to the Halloween themed teaparty at Viola Lahger. I had decided earlier that day not to go... but eventually I changed my mind. And I'm happy that I did. I had a lovely time. More on the teaparty, as well as pictures, will come later~

Anyway, like last time, Tea and I waited until the next day to do the cleaning up. So todayaround 2pm I was dressed and ready to drop by in the store.

We ate some of the left-over cupcakes~
This is one of the ones I made. Raspberry and Vanilla cupcakes with light purple Vanilla frosting! And tiny sugarpaste pumpkins and larvae of course! All made by me, naturally~

We were a bit hungry so we decided to go and get some Thai-food. It was delicious! Here served on the floor with Cherry tea~

Oh and I had a package to pick up at the post office today! So after lunch I ran to get it~ it contained my new Mode Girl Jumperskirt from Angelic Pretty with matching socks and headband as well as another pair of socks, shoeclips and a necklace.

It is absolutely perfect!

I had another wonderful day with equally wonderful company! But... now I am exhausted and I have a migraine so I think I'll just go lay down drink my tea~

More updates~

Hm... update~

Well the last week has been really nice. I've been going out a lot, meeting people and doing fun things. Like, for example....

Yesterday I went to the yearly Chocolate Festival at Nordiska Museet in Stockholm. We all know how much I love chocolate so I was pretty much in heaven~ However, despite there being so many different Chocolatiers there they all had the same flavors on their little candies... Quite boring, in my opinion. I would have thought there would be more kinds to choose from. Hm... Oh well, it was a lovely day nonetheless. Especially since I went out to dinner with my family later that evening. 'Twas my dear mother's birthday, you see~

Hm... What else...

I'm completely stressed out over Halloween! I want, quite desperatly, to have an awesome outfit for next weekend's Teaparty at Viola Lahger but... I can't think of what to wear! I don't even know what I want to be! Of course, I still have my Corpse Bride outfit from last year laying around... but it's boring to wear the same thing two years in a row... So I'll only wear that if I absolutely have to.

Speaking of that teaparty... I am going to try to get another couple of hats finished before then. I really need to get started on my hatmaking again anyway, and the teaparty seems like the perfect deadline. Or something... I was thinking of making several more Pirate Styled hats and perhaps even experiment with another couple of wonky shapes... We'll see. Hopefully I'll have the time and motivation to do everything I want.

There ought to be something else to tell you as well.... Oh yes! I got my paycheck last week and I will be going to the bank today to put all of the money in my account! So that means I'm not broke anymore! Aaaand.... that also means that I can finally buy the Angelic Pretty dress that I have been drooling over for the last couple of weeks. If you're curious I can tell you that it's a JSK from the series Mode Girl.

Actually, I have wanted that dress for a loong time and recently it came up for sale on the Swedish Lolita Forum. It is probably the only AP dress that I ever really wanted. Of course, I love their Chandelier dress as well, but this one just... I have to have it. It has an Eiffel Tower on it!

... Yes, I'm obsessed with Paris.... So what?

Right... I think that is all for now~

I have to run to the bank anyway so I don't have the time to write anything else.

Viola Lahger Teaparty!

And here we are! The pictures from the very first Viola Lahger Teaparty!

I had such a wonderful time that day... there aren't words to describe it... I love each and every person I met at that teaparty and together we had a lovely evening!

The table~ All set with beautiful porcelaine and laiden with cookies!

Each of the guests was given one of these cards with a very special gift on the back in the form of a 10% discount on anything from the store!

My businesscards had finally arrived and they have now taken their place among the others on the counter!

And of course my hats as well have found their places in the store.

Lovely corsets and even more lovely jewelry~

These books were absolutely lovely and provided much entertainment for myself and Tea before the teaparty started!

People eventually started to drop in and after at least a couple of hours of drinking tea and eating cookies we abandoned the table for other activities such as... trying lovely, lovely corsets!

This lovely lady bought one of my hats! It looked so good on her and I am so proud of it!

That corset was absolutely GORGEOUS! And it was sooo comfortable too!

Oh, and No, I didn't go to the teaparty in my underwear. I wore my Green and White striped Victorian dress.... But after a couple of hours clothing started flying off in every direction and uhm... Yes..

I'm back in business!

I know that many of you probably wonder why I haven't updated my blogs in a while. To be quite honest, there have been many reasons why I just haven't felt like writing anything. I have been working hard and then certain events happened that made me... not feel so good. Today was the first day that I actually felt well enough to do some things I have been avoiding for the last couple of weeks. I'm still not great, but I'm getting there.

So... life update...

I finished working the other week and today I indulged myself by ordering a new Ball-jointed Doll! I spent some time freaking out when Paypal wouldn't work with me, but eventually everything went well and my Kaoru will soon be on her way home. So yay for that!

Oh and before I even started working I participated in the first Teaparty at Viola Lahger! That was absolutely lovely so I think it deserves it's very own blogg post... which will come sometime after I'm done with this one so no need to worry! I met lots of nice people there, had a wonderful time and even sold a hat! Anyway... more on that later...

Uhm... I can't really think of anything else to tell you at the moment. I suppose more will come to me in time, but you'll just have to wait! At least you know some of the stuff that has been going on now.

Right... I really need to get back into this! XD I can't write stuff anymore!
